Introduction The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch College of Engineering Adoor
hosted Xtreme Xperience on 26th October 2024. This exclusive event was
organized for students of CEA registered for IEEEXtreme 18.0, the globally
renowned 24-hour coding competition. With the theme “Pushing Limits,
Unleashing Potential,” the event aimed to prepare participants for the
unparalleled coding journey ahead while fostering a collaborative and
innovative spirit
Brief Description: The event was held at the Seminar Hall, College of Engineering Adoor,
from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, just hours after IEEEXtreme 18.0 officially
commenced. It brought together enthusiastic coders eager to maximize their
performance and make a mark on the leaderboard. Key highlights of the event included:
1. Warm-up Activities: Participants engaged in interactive coding
challenges to sharpen their skills and familiarize themselves with the
competition format.
2. Guidance Sessions: Facilitators shared valuable insights on efficient
time management, problem prioritization, and utilizing coding resources
effectively during the competition. 3. Team Building and Strategy Discussions: Teams collaborated to
finalize strategies, boosting their confidence and fostering camaraderie.
4. Logistics and Preparation: Participants were briefed about essential
guidelines, including technical requirements and rules, ensuring smooth
participation in the 24-hour coding marathon.
