The event was held in conjunction with Women’s Day and National Engineers’ Week to celebrate women in tech and women’s empowerment. The session began with a welcome speech by Ms. Jesty A Reji, Vice Chair, IEEE WiE AG SB CEA. It was followed by Dr.Anupama, who in her session talked about embracing equity, measures to make STEMM more women-inclusive, and scholarships available for female students in STEMM Towards the end, there was a Q&A where prejudices against women were talked about, and the methods to overcome them. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Devananda, Chair, IEEE WiE AG, SB, CEA.
