IEEE CS SB CEA conducted an event about the topic” Introduction to Satelite and image
processing” in Collaboration with WiC’s of IEEE SB CEA,IEEE CUSAT SB,IEEE SB SCET
under kerala section event INFORMATYKA 2.0.The session was taken through Google meet and handled by Radha Krishna Kavuluru ISRO Scientist.

The aim of the event is to provide knowledge to students how images are processed through Satelites.The event consisted of two 1 hour sessions and both Of it was handled by Radha Krishna Kavuluru ISRO Scientist. The platform used for this session was Google Meet.

The First session of this event discussed about how make an image using open CV
library, how to make different Shape and how to cololur this shapes using open CV library, he also discussed how to arrange such shapes demonstrating on different flags of a
country. In second day of the event discussed that how images and faces are detected
detected and also discussed the algorithm behind it.As the first day discussed the basics , on other hand second day was more deep into topic.The event was very informative and received positive responses from Participants.
