IEEE CS SBC CEA conducted a lecturette session ‘Introduction to GitHub’ , an
event that is designed to help students to understand and use the features of
GitHub.The event was conducted at the IEEE room CEA and was handled by
Mr.Manu Suresh (S8 CSE).

The aim of this event was to provide a comprehensive introduction to GitHub,
covering its features, benefits and how it can be used in software development.
This lecture session covered the topics: What is GitHub?History of GitHub,
motive behind GitHub, How to push new code into GitHub, how to remove ,
add branches, how to store and create GitHub repository . The event ended
with a Q&A session,where the students had the opportunity to ask questions
and seek clarifications on their doubts. The session was very informative and
helped students in building a solid foundation in using GitHub. The session
received lot of positive responses from the students
