INTRODUCTION 

On 24th April 2023, IEEE SB CEA with IEEE PES SBC CEA conducted an inauguration event of PES day 2023. It was conducted as part of the IEEE Execome meeting of the month April. The event was successfully conducted with the active participation of PES volunteers and all other Execome members. Dr. Jayachandran, HOD Electronics and Communication department was the main guest of the event. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The 6th IEEE PES Day inauguration was conducted on 21st April 2023. Dr. Jayachandran, HOD, Electronics and Communication department was the main guest of the event. The event was hosted by Mr. Jerrin Mathew George, chairman IEEE PES SBC CEA. He talked about the importance of PES day and its theme. He then discussed the planned events to be conducted for PES Day. Then the winners of the poster making competition on the theme of PES Day 2023 conducted on 19th April were announced. All other posters were also published. The winning group was gifted an rechargeable LED Bulb and it was gifted by Dr. Jayachandran. All the posters were then put on display in the college along with additional information on PES Day and its website. Number of participants: 31
