Introduction                                                                                                                                     The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group of the College of Engineering Adoorhosted “Empowering Women in Green Hydrogen: Shaping the Future of Energy Using AI” on3rd July 2024 via Google Meet. Dr. Anupama Thakur, a Postdoctoral Research Associate atIndiana University–Purdue University, led the session, focusing on AI’s role in greenhydrogen and empowering women in renewable energy.

Brief Description                                                                                                                              The IEEE WIE Affinity Group of the College of Engineering Adoor organized a virtual eventon 3rd July 2024, titled “Empowering Women in Green Hydrogen: Shaping the Future of Energy Using AI.” The session, led by Dr. Anupama Thakur, Postdoctoral ResearchAssociate at Indiana University–Purdue University, explored the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in green hydrogen technologies and its potential to revolutionize the energy sector. The event aimed to inspire and empower women to take active roles in shaping the future of sustainable energy. With active participation from students the event provided valuable insights into emerging energy solutions and encouraged women’s leadership in the renewable energy field.
