Introduction                                                                                                                                            An introduction and awareness session about Electronic Components, was held by IEEE
IAS-IES Jt. SBC CEA on the 29th October 2024. It was conducted in the form of an interactive session and it was mainly focused on the first year students and students of Electronics and Electrical departments.
The speaker of the event was Deva Prakash. He is the Secretary, IEEE RAS SB CEA.

Brief Description:                                                                                                                              Miss Sree Lakshmi Manoj, Secretary, IEEE IAS-IES Jt. SBC CEA welcomed the speaker Deva Prakash to the event.First of all, the speaker of the session, Deva Prakash introduced himself to the participants of the session.Then he explained about the various electronic components and presented its uses and functions to the participants. He explained about the Capacitors and diodes and its applications. The session was ended by Abhijith R, Chair, IEEE IAS and IES Society, giving the vote of thanks. The event was successful in achieving its aim of imparting an overview of Electronic Components to the participants.
